I have had a few text messages from Sheet street to say my smear is out of date. I have tried to make an appointment. Every time I call the surgery, after waiting in a queue, I’m told no appointment, call back. Let’s hope you and I never live to regret this. But I’m not sure anyone of you really cares. I have been with this surgery for 20 years. Do you recommend that I find another surgery where I can get treated with more care and concentration.

I am also very often short of breath, wheezing, can’t breath., constant cough. Couldn’t get an appointment at sheet street but had a late appointment at 9:30pm at night at King Edward Hospital. The doctor said I was fit but still prescribed me a blue puffer so I can breathe properly. Surely this is not right.

I am married to a GP and have many friends working in medicine within the NHS. They are quite shocked with your responses. —  22/01/2025
