August 2023 <div> I agree with the inspection findings but have since carried out the following improvements: -</div> <div>  </div> <div> a.<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>The establishment has been thoroughly cleaned and procedures are in place to ensure that cleanliness is maintained.</div> <div> b.<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>A new management system has been implemented.</div> <div> c.<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>The staff have been trained/re-trained/given instruction/are under revised supervisory arrangements.</div> <div> d.<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Other – please expand below and use only the space provided</div> <div>  </div> <div> All areas have been deep cleaned and cleaning schedules updated including deep fat fryers, oven, and extraction units.</div> <div> All areas have been decluttered and new shelves installed to ensure clear work surfaces and to prevent future clutter.</div> <div> Distinct segregation of working areas signed and indicated as follows:</div> <div> 1 Raw Meat and Fish preparation area</div> <div> 2 Food preparation areas</div> <div> 3 Final Cooked food area</div> <div> 4 Washing up area</div> <div> SFBB booklet and diaries have been updated accordingly.</div> <div>  </div> <div>  </div> <div> The conditions found at the time of the inspection were not typical of the normal conditions maintained at the establishment and arose because </div> <div>  </div> <div> In January 2023 the Manager sustained significant injuries to his ribs, rendering him incapable of doing much for several months. During this time, the Manager received little or no support and due to pressure of work some deterioration in control was suffered.</div> <div>  </div> <div> The Manager is now fully recovered and able to give the managerial support necessary to ensure that standards are kept up where they should be.</div> <div>  </div> <div> The work in the passageway, which was delayed for the same reason, is now ongoing from today 23/10/23 with completion of the ceiling area scheduled to be complete this week. Further work will follow with completion of all works by the end of November.</div>
